Healed of blindness

By Margaret Cisneros

On February 24, 2004, I suddenly lost the sight in my left eye. The ophthalmologist said I had suffered a mini-stroke affecting the retina and that I would never regain sight in my eye.

I often visit my daughter in Albuquerque and attend Trinity Family Church (AG) when there. During a visit, Pastor J.M. and Jeannette Barnard came to pray for me at my daughter’s house. I was very thankful.

Several months went by and I continued to believe for God’s healing touch. On Sunday, August 15, I was again visiting my daughter and Pastor Barnard called me forward for prayer. I was anointed with oil. I knew the Lord was doing something.

On Tuesday, I went to be checked by the ophthalmologist. She could not believe I could see out of my left eye. As she did different tests, she kept asking what I had been doing different. She said it was impossible for me to be able to see with that eye.

I told the doctor I had been praying and that God had answered my prayer. She took a picture of my eye and saved it on her computer because she said no one would believe her.

I thank God for healing me. But I also thank the many people who prayed for me at home and at Trinity Family Church, my church away from home.

Margaret Cisneros attends Taos (N.M.) Assembly of God (Louis Madrid, pastor).
