Don’t panic

Do you panic when receiving unpleasant news? Do you fall apart and feel overwhelmed?
Even when facing a crowd of more than 5,000 hungry people, Jesus remained calm. He had only five loaves and two fish. He ordered all the people to sit down. Then He prayed to His Heavenly Father and fed the multitude. There were 12 baskets of food left over (Matthew 14:14-21). Panic was never part of Jesus’ life.
The apostle Paul didn’t panic, though he was beaten, stoned and left for dead, shipwrecked, and imprisoned. Nothing could make him give up serving Christ (Acts 20:24).
You’ll face storms in your life. Christ will either remove them or take you through the storm. You’ll face seeming impossibilities; but don’t panic. With God’s help, the impossible becomes possible.
God will be with you in trouble. When God controls your life, He’ll change your panic into peace (Philippians 4:7). He’ll replace your fear with faith.
