Super Bowl Edition
You’ve got a fan
I never followed the Baltimore Ravens until my cousin started playing for them. Now I watch every game. In doing so, I’ve memorized names, numbers, and stats and learned Ravens formations and tendencies.
Truth be told, I’m still not a true Ravens fan. They’re only on my radar screen as long as my cousin plays for them. My true affinity lies with the San Francisco 49ers, the team I’ve followed since my youth.
As any player can tell you, fans are fickle.
But there is one Fan who will never boo, complain or leave early. As a matter of fact, He wants nothing but the best for all of us no matter how many interceptions we throw, passes we drop or fumbles we make.
He’s so devoted to us, despite our flaws, that He sent His only Son to die for us.
How do I know this is true?
I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior when I was 12 years old. I haven’t been the same since. You can experience this too. Just click on the ABCs of Salvation button.
I’ll never have 60,000 fans cheering me on, but I’m confident of one thing — whether I’m winning or losing in the game of life, I’ll always have at least one Fan rooting for me.
